Perennial Psychology
Oida Therapy Manual
In historical terms, the phrase “Perennial Psychology” is derived from the Perennial Philosophy popularized by the German philosopher Gottfried Leibnitz. In 1945, his ideas were taken up again and published by the English writer Aldous Huxley in his book entitled Perennial Philosophy. In this work, Huxley points out the fact that, throughout history, humanity has recorded its experiences and perceptions about nature, reality, the world, and the meaning and purpose of existence. Although there are differences among peoples, cultures and times, there are also enduring similarities.
